Masak-ing
(cooking)

Ever since staying with Jamie, I have started cooking.
Surprisingly, it isnt as bad or as tedious as I once thought it to be. Instead, I find myself enjoying it.
Sure I'm not the best cook, infact I do it right 1 out or 3 times , but can you blame me? Amateur chief please.

I must say, dessert is where I crash & burn. I follow the recipe, and still it comes out horrible. Even the already packed one's you can buy from Safeway/Coles turn out :

1. Hard as rock.
2. Not fully cooked.
3. Burnt.

Only once, when I made Chocolate Souffl?did it turn out right(ish). It raised the way a Souffl?is supposed to, but taste, well, I say, I should've added more chocolate.

And brownies, BROWNIES, easiest ever, cake thing you can make, I manage to screw up.
Bit of chocolate/cocoa powder, egg, butter, flour, milk, self rasing flour, mix together, pour in pan, put in oven.
Easy right?
Too bad mine turned yuck.

Can you believe this was supposed to be Chocolate pudding. Mind you, I followed the recipe.

But not everything I make is a total disaster.
I remember back in y.10 or y.11 I use to cook with Minji every time we stayed each over at each others house. And me & Shalen, we made killer "Kimchi sushi". Sure, dont sound so great, but it was (so we say). And Jamie enjoys my cooking (unless he's really doesn't, and is just saying he does just to be nice, which I will chop him to bits if that were the case)

All in all, although I am a horrendous cook at times, I still enjoy it.
I especially love the way how some restaurants plate their dishes, and at times, make it look way too pretty to be eaten.

Guess who's getting the "Snip-Snip" Treatment...

Yes, my baby boo, is gona go under the knife to well, get sniped-sniped, aka desexed.
Me, and Jamie bought her, thinking we'd wanted her to have babies (though Jamie still wants her to have babies), but we figured, she's our 1st dog, and she's a small dog.

Besides, we're definite on wanting an Alaskan Malamute or Siberian Husky, and making them have babies .
But that wont come till we move out together.

The day started with us getting up at 8am to get ready.
After spending 5 hours looking for a dress, a little tired, and frustrated I ended up with this cute dress from Forever New

Unknowingly, Champaign seemed to be the color of choice amongst guests and the bride herself.
I wanted to curl my hair for the wedding, now that my locks are longer then the last time I tried to curl my hair (2005 wesley formal), so it would look pretty instead of me looking like I had a mass curly fires as hair. But it turned out to be more of a tedious task than I expected, so I turned to straightening my hair.

We had the tea ceremony at Jamie's house (Denh, Jamie's sister waits inside, while Glenn, the husband to be has to pass "tasks" in order to get into the house )

We then as a short mingling moment with both families.
Best part of that? Was the tasty roast pig.

The wedding was a beautiful one.
Set in a garden of a vineyard at the Yarra Valley (I think.. if I remember correctly).
The views of the way there was breathtaking.

It was a small wedding with 150 guest, mostly photographers (Bride is a photographer, go figure). I could swear, everyone had a camera at that wedding, as she walked down the asile, all that could be seen was flashes going off. But it was a lovely wedding. It really was.

The reception was nice, food was delicious. Few of the guests got drunk and started to well, try to breakdance. One of the best man did a little G rated pole dance.
Glenn pulled some weird "robot" style dance moves.
Me and Jamie, made fools of ourself (since everyone on teh dance floor danced weirdly)

Its got to be one of the most memorable weddings I've attended.
I couldn't be anymore happier for the both of them.

Exercise Schmaxercise

Lets get this straight, I havent done any form of exercise since year 10. Though I was forced to do the compulsary Physical Edu. I was excited to finally be in year 11 where PE was not compulsary. However, we had to do at least 1 season of sport (I chose Netball. I never went.). I hated excercise or any form of sport for that matter. But, I did enjoy swimming.

I eat what I want, whenever I want, and I'm relatively happy with the way I turned out. Im neither fat, nor anorexic, but I am unhealthy (with the ex-smoking, junk food etc)

Recently, Jamie's turned into a health freak drill sargent.
And dont get me wrong, I'm all for it. I mean, healthy is good, healthy is what everyone wants to be.
Jamie, on his new health kick, started excercising (skipping, weights, jog, the lot) and wants me to do so too. As stated, I hate excercise, so, him getting me to excercise was well, full of me being a baby, refusing to excercise, and getting really upset just to do something simple like skipping.

I really hate excercise. I dont know why. I avoid it like its the plague
But, I started thinking about a talk we had a few months ago. About how he always gives things up to do things for me/with me, just so I'll be happy.
Well it made me realise I was selfish.
So, just to prove that I'm not, I agreed to join him in his excercise regime. Well just 100+ skips & walking the dog is all that I'm doing
But, its a start, right?

Besides, nice toned abdomen, here I come :]

I still dislike excercising.

2 years ago, I started going to the glen library to well, catch a glimpse, or if luck is on my side to perve at this one person. We'll watchu expect from someone who was, back then, single and bored.
And now, well now, he is my other half, my right hand.

Yesterday we celebrated our 2 year anniversary.
We had a simple celebration, redoing what we did on our first date- dinner & movie

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix was one of the worst Harry Potter movies made. Maybe it was that they cut, changed, and added some bits, for some reason it just felt like they didnt do the book any justice.

We then went for dinner at Hard Rock Cafe (We were supposed to eat at Bluefire at Melbourne Central, but it was booked out. My fault for not making reservations thinking that no one was bound to eat out on a wednesday).

Anyway dinner was good. Got really full, didnt finish what was ordered, but the food was good.

We just got a bit too bored whilst waiting for the train home at parliament station.
So, excuse us whores.

And as a memorabilia of our 2 years, I will probably have a scar, as a result of stupid train doors closing whilst I was getting on, and having my foot clamped between the doors.

My Latest

The other day, while supposedly shopping for a dress to wear to Jamie's sister's wedding, I walked past Lancome, and instantly fell in love with their new spring collection - Pop Cherub by Gucci Westman. I knew that I couldnt leave Chadstone without something from the collection so, I bought the Palette Pop Cherub 02, and am very happy with my purchase.

And for my next most wanted item,
Stonewashed Nudes Palette by Bobbi Brown. That, however will have to wait till next month.

As for my dress, I am confused as to what to wear. Seems that nothing really captures my eyes. Hmmwell..

So I've been absent for what say, 2 months? Writers block and laziness just seemed to have taken over me.
Well here's what I've been up to.

June

, I turned 19. The final year of being a teenager (so my dad says). Didnt really make a big deal, birthday's come every year right? However, just had the usual family dinner, dinner with family friends and dinner with Jamie.

. I got money and I spent money. I bought myself a Nintendo Ds Lite (which is being played more frequently by Jamie than by me ), and Chanel Nail Color in India.

. Jamie bought me a pair of 9k Gold Hoop Earrings followed by a Guess watch.

. Parents agreed to buying me a car, will be bought the next time my Dad comes back to Melbourne, which'll be in December .

. Just before dad left to good ol' Jakarta, we went up to Mt Buller. We decided to give Snowboarding a try, relatively fun, apart from all the falling over. In the end me and Jamie got the hang of it, My dad's friend changed from snowboarding to skiing (which he was way better at, and my Dad, well, he just, kinda, said he was too old for the sport. We all had aching joints, muscles, back, bruising on knees and elbows, the very next day.

And just for memories sake

. Lily ran away from Jamie's Aunts house in Altona. Thankfully she was brought into the RSPCA and we managed to get her back after 2 nights of restless sleep. We the decided to adopt our next dog, instead of buying it from the pet shop. We're aiming for a big dog.

. Hmm... and, I dyed my hair, not like its noticeable anyways. Similar color, just more copper.

Once again, Its good to be back on Xanga.
& here are just everyday pictures of well, Me and Jamie.

A box (and a role) of tissues later..

& I'm still down with a really bad cold. My nose is blocked, making it near to impossible to sleep.

Hate having a cold, and not being able to taste my food.
Last night I tried for the fist time to cook porridge. I dont know how it tastes like. Jamie says its "yummy". I thought it was, well, tasteless.
So in order for mine to taste anything like food, I mixed in a good ammount of soy sauce. And hey, still no taste.

Last sunday me and mum went to bridge road to shop.
I ended up buying these pair of simple, staple black shoes by Tony Bianco

absolutely love them.

Rain rain go away...

Its rainy, its grey, its wet, I feel yuck.
Rainy days just shit me, I feel as though I cant do anything.. or be bothered doing anything.
The weather has this effect on me.
Sunny days, I feel happy, Clear days, I feel happy, dark, gloomy days I feel depressed. Oh, and cold days, I just wanna sleep.

Jamie's playing his games, Lilys' chewing her toy, & me, I'm boring myself shitless.

Yesterday, Jamie found a lost Huski. However instead of bringing it home, he left it in a empty grassy space near syndal, and came home to wake me up and tell me to go back out with him to get it (I know right, what the?). Obviously, the Huski wont stay in the same spot for 20 Minutes. By the time we got there it was gone. Next this we know, a police car came buy and turned into syndal so we diecided to follow it. And what do we see there, the Huski being taken away.
All we wanted to do with it was take it home, play with it, then call its owner.
If only he had brought it home.

Mother's day was a few days back.
For Jamie's mum ; We had a family lunch over at his place (on saturday) where each person made their own food. I made potato salad. It would've been good if the potatos were cooked.
For my mum ; We went out for lunch at Kimchi Grandma, then went for a shopping trip till the shop closed.

There was a time in Feb, the whole of Jamie's & Glen's (Jamie's sisiter's fiance) went to go fishing.

Sadly I didnt catch any. Neither did Jamie, However Jamie's mum caught quiet a few..only 2 can be kept (y'know, the whole "fish has to be this length to be kept" thing).

We kept planning to go to teh Melbourne Aquarium, but kept putting it off.

So one day, we went.

& because they di dnt have the Moomba fireworks, Me, Jamie, Jenny & Hwang went to go see it.

& very recently it was Jamie's Oldest brother's like 3rd Graduation.

Valentine's is over rated.

Because Jamie bought Lily as a gift, I get no gifts for four years (so he says).
Valentine's last year, was spent with me and my girls smoking and bitching over a steaming cup of coffee, while honey bear Jamie was off camping with he's year12 people.

However this year, its off to a plain old style dinner out at some over priced restaurant somwhere in the city (if all goes to plan). Hey, at least we're together this V-day.

TAFE is what I thought it would be.
Being bored out of my mind, I sometimes get the urge to pick up a damn cigrette and start smoking just so I have something to do.
Of course that would lead to Jamie beating the shit through me.

My mum's going to Indonesia and Penang for Chinese New Year, Jamie's parents are leaving to Vietnam sometime this month too. This leaves, two empty house we have to house sit.
Horray?

Other than that,
P's is a must get.
So I can get my car.
My lovely. Sexy little afordable Nissan 350Z

Then of course I'll move my way up the car chain to finally getting the Mercedes McLaren. mm.. Yes please.
